Qnap NMP-1000 Network Multimedia Player, bridge computer and home theater
Qnap Systems announced the release of a multimedia device, NMP-1000. It is designed to become a bridge between the computer network and home theater system.
Qnap NMP-1000 is media player for the modern “digital home”. The Qnap NMP-1000 Media Player is made on the basis of 3.5-inch SATA I/II HDD which can reach up to 2TB of capacity.
The Qnap NMP-1000 device can play through the TV and cinema speaker system files of most popular formats. In particular, it has supports codecs MPEG-1/2/4, XviD, H.264, H.263, WMV9, VC1, WAV, WMA, AAC, PCM, AC3, MPA, DTS, and OGG. In addition, users can view images in the formats; BMP, JPEG and PNG.
New Qnap NMP-1000 Network Multimedia Player has equipped Ethernet controller for connecting to a computer network, allowed the opportunity to interact with popular online services, such as Flickr and YouTube. It connects to connect home theater component through a HDMI 1.3 digital interface, component and composite video output, TV-out S-Video, analog, and optical and coaxial digital audio outputs.
Qnap NMP-1000 Network Multimedia Player has brings a USB 2.0 port that capable to connect external storages such as external hard drive, flash drive. It has dimensions 204×176.4×62 mm (HxWxD) and weight 2kg. It can also be used to automatically backup computers on the network and also for easy file storage and sharing.
Among other features of Qnap NMP-1000 can provide automatically backup computers in network and work remotely with easy file storage and sharing. It also has ability to connect an additional wireless module. Sales of QNAP NMP-1000 Media Player are already available on market.
