QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS for home and small businesses
QNAP has introduced its Turbo NAS line network storage, called QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS. It is designed for home users and SOHO segment. The QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS can accommodate up to 8TB of storage, supports 4-bay 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch hard drives (with maximum capacity of 2TB each), and powered by an 800 MHz Marvell processor with 256MB DDR II RAM.
QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS is capable to hot-swap function and it is allows RAID 0/1/5/6/5 + spare disk and JBOD configurations. In addition, the QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS provides the ability to increase capacity and migration between RAID modes online.
QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS also is fully supports the iSCSI protocol (can work as an initiator and host), has two Gigabit LAN ports, four USB ports (one front, three on back), and two e-SATA ports.
The QNAP TS-410 Turbo NAS is compatible for different operating systems (Windows, Macintosh, Linux and Unix) as well as support for UPnP/DLNA. The server device has a built-in Twonky Media that is compatible with most DLNA media player, including game consoles (Sony PS3 and Microsoft Xbox 360). In addition, it supports protocols such as Bit Torrent/FTP/HTTP. QNAP TS-410 will be available on market in October 2009.
