QNAP Security Company introduced high-performance 8-bay VioStor-8040U-RP and VioStor-8040, equipped with a Intel Core 2 Duo 2.8 GHz processor and 2 GB DDRII memory. The network surveillance systems has supports 8 hot-swappable HDD for up to 16 TB, 40-channel recording of IP cameras, megapixel recording (up to 8 MP) and other advanced options, including RAID 0/1/5/6/5+spare/6+spare, Online RAID Level Migration, and Online RAID Capacity Expansion.
VioStor-8040U-RP NVR and VioStor-8040 NVR supports the M-JPEG, MPEG-4 and H.264, and are compatible with the IP-based cameras and network video from AXIS, ACTi, Arecont, Canon, Cisco, D-Link, EDIMAX, ELMO, EtroVision, GANZ, iPUX, IQeye, LevelOne, Linksys, MOBOTIX, Panasonic BB/BL/i-Pro, SANYO, SONY, TOA, TOSHIBA, TRENDnet, VIVOTEK, and Y-CAM.
QNAP VioStor-8040U-RP NVR and VioStor-8040 NVR are independent systems with a simple configuration in six steps without having to install software and connect your computer. Users can monitor up to 120 IP-channels with multiple QNAP NVR servers. NVR also has two screens and a variety of output mode images, providing simultaneous monitoring of up to 42 channels.
There are many options: recording on a schedule, on alarm recording, the recording of anxiety in a given period, the recording when it detects motion, and recording pre- and post-alarm. In addition, it is supported by flexible search timeline and the type of event, DDNS, dual Giga LAN to avoid network failure, load balancing and multi-IP configuration.
