Raider S705: Compact Rugged PC

General Micro Systems announces its new rugged computer is very compact size. That’s called Raider S705, made in the form of a small box with the dimensions 4.6 x 4.6 x 1.6 inches. Despite its modest size, it is equipped with a processor Intel Core 2 Duo processor with a frequency of 2.16 GHz, up to 2 gigabytes of RAM, dual COM port and four USB 2.0 port.

Also, the device can support up to 6 wireless connections simultaneously. In addition to the two inputs Gigabit Ethernet, Raider S705 is able to work with cell phones, CDMA, TDMA, WiFi, GPS, Bluetooth and a compatible standard. In addition, the device can be equipped with two solid-state drives with a capacity of 250 gigabytes each.

With regard to reliability, the Raider S705 is fully consistent with the standard MIL-STD 810F, a computer capable of operating at temperatures from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius, and from a single source voltage (+16 to +28 V). Also it consumes only 15 watts of power.
