If you’re in the market looking for a Razer brand, you might found out the gaming accessory or computer machine. Now, Razer is trying to enter wearable device, dubbed the Razer Nabu smartband. It is company’s first wearable and would be available on the streets in North America starting December 2nd. Surprising, the first 5,000 Razer Insiders who pre-order the Nabu smartband will have to pay just $80. That’s a cheaper, instead of the regular price of Razer Nabu that priced at $99.99.
Like other smartbands on the market, the Nabu is capable to showing notifications from phone. You can also use it as a fitness tracker. Most interesting, Razer Nabu smartband is allowing band-to-band communications through social feature. That’s mean you can connect to your friends through Facebook, Twitter, or other social networks.
Razer Nabu smartband provides a 128 x 32 pixel OLED display on the bottom of the band. Meanwhile, it will offer privacy for user to ensure other people don’t see notifications. This wearable device meets IP54 standard for water resistant. According to press release, the Razer’ smartband is made by certified hypo-allergenic materials. Its battery is good for up to a week of usage. Company is also mention there are Android and iOS apps to companion with the Nabu. For example, you can customize notification, vibration, display settings, and more.
Aside arrive on this Tuesday, it will be available at Razer online store in both small-medium and medium-large versions. Users can choose either of green, white, orange or black color options.
