Imagine how difficult life in prison. But we often heard, often occur quarel among fellow convict, especially when the guard is going.
In the United States, precisely in prison in California, will soon be used a robot with the name Recon Scout which will always control the situation and conditions in the prison.
Recon Scout itself has actually been used during the war in Iraq and it is time robots will be used at the prison.
What benefits? Recon Scouts can survive from damage when dropped from a altitude of 9 meters and can be controlled in the 30 meters distance via remote control with LCD screen to see the condition directly.
Recon Scout can also send video images directly to the computer through the camera, there are also infrared to see in the dark. Another uniqueness of these robots, for turn on/off is not using switch, but as a way to pull like a grenade pin is.
The reason? that is simple to facilitate the army in the battlefield to strike a robot with hands on dense of gloves and the other reason is which can not be easily turned off by the enemy. One of the main reasons why Recon Scout is used to monitor the situation of the prison, beside the shape of a small and flexible, the price is also not too expensive for a robot that is about US$ 6,000 and US$ 9,000 for using the camera’s infrared (IR).
