Ricoh Company has exposed new compact digital camera lineup in Japan, known as the Ricoh CX4. They has claimed that their image stabilization technique is improves exposures by 3.7EV (exponential scale, is equal 10 times brighter).

Ricoh CX4 compact camera is sports a back-illuminated 10 megapixel CMOS image sensor, a wide-angle lens with 10.7x optical zoom lens (28-300 mm focal length), a 3-inch TFT display (920k dot) with resolution of 640×480 pixel, 86MB of internal memory, and SD/SDHC memory card slot (up to 32GB).

In addition, the Ricoh CX4 camera has TV-out and USB 2.0 ports. The new Ricoh CX4 is powered by Smooth Imaging Engine IV processor. It is supports HD video recording (1280 x 720 pixels) at 30 frames per second.

Dimensions of Ricoh CX4 are 101.5 x 58.6 x 29.4 mm and weight 205g. Ricoh CX4 will start sale in Japan on 3 September, but its price is not yet announced.
