Ricoh has recently exposed new digital camera in Japan, called the Ricoh G700. It is designed for use in extreme conditions.
The camera is offers the U.S. military standard MIL-STD-810F. It is noted that the Ricoh G700 is enables two hours in the underwater at five meters.
The Ricoh G700 rugged camera is packs a 12.1-megapixel CCD sensor, wide-angle lens with a 5x optical zoom lens (focal length 28-140 mm), digital image stabilizer, a 3-inch TFT display, 103MB internal memory, slot for SD/SDHC/SD WORM card (up to 32GB). In addition, the G700 has brings TV-out and USB 2.0 port.
It is supports HD video recording (1280 x 720 pixels) at 30 frames per second. Dimensions of Ricoh G700 are 118.8 x 71 x 41 mm and weight 280 g (without batteries and memory cards). It will be sale for Japanese market on September 10th.
