RIM intros BlackBerry Curve 8520 (aka Gemini)
Canada Company, Research In Motion (RIM) has held an official presentation of the new BlackBerry Curve 8520 Smartphone, also known as BlackBerry Gemini.
This Communicator is made in the “monoblock” body and it is equipped with 2.64-inch display with a resolution of 320×240 pixels. On below the display, there are control buttons, optical trackpad and a QWERTY keyboard. It makes simplifies writing text messages and work with e-mail.
BlackBerry Curve 8520 comes with a 2-megapixel camera, a Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and 256 MB of integrated memory. The program supports playback of video media in MPEG-4, H.263, H.264, and WMV3; audio file AAC-LC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, WMA9, WMA9 PRO/WMA 10.
The new BlackBerry Curve 8520 smartphone is designed for use in GSM/EDGE. The battery provided up to 4.5 hours in talktime and 17 days in standby.
The size of device is 109x60x14 mm and weight is 106 g. In the United States, BlackBerry Curve 8520 will be sale in T-Mobile USA operator.
