Research In Motion (RIM) has officially announced the additional models of the BlackBerry Playbook tablet. The RIM tablet will be available in four versions.

The first is BlackBerry PlayBook with Wi-Fi, the second is BlackBerry 4G PlayBook with Wi-Fi and WiMax, the third model is BlackBerry 4G PlayBook with Wi-Fi and LTE, the fourth is BlackBerry 4G PlayBook with Wi-Fi and HSPA+.

Most likely, these models are designed for different regions.

BlackBerry PlayBook tablet has a 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1GB of RAM, Bluetooth, two cameras (3MP and 5MP), MicroHDMI port, and more. The BlackBerry PlayBook tablet is running on QNX OS and powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A9 processor. There is no word on pricing at moment.
