RipNAS Statement: the world’s first NAS device based on SSD
mCubed last February introduced a new family of networked storage NAS, working on the processor Intel Atom. And now they have decided to expand its line of NAS systems by the two new solutions – Statement HDD and Statement SSD. Moreover, the latter model has become the world’s first network drive, using as a SSD based and equipped with the function of CD-ripping NAS device.
In addition, Statement SSD network drive has allows for the transfer of media files in streaming mode, and also serves as a network file storage. It is enclosed in an elegant silver body and works on the basis of Intel dual-core Atom processor. In addition, it is equipped with 2 GB of RAM, and its internal capacity is 500 GB (2 x 250 GB SSDs).
At the same time, the capacity model Statement HDD to 3TB by way of two 1.5TB drives. NAS device is also equipped with 4 USB 2.0 ports for connecting additional drives, and Gigabit Ethernet port and software platform runs on Windows Home Server. Dimensions of RipNAS Statement of 10 x 43 x 38 cm, it has weigh 12 kg.
