Robot ticket seller from NEC, which can identify customers

Payment by mobile phone technology (FeLiCa) have become a trend in Japan and the likely long-time Japanese people do not take the money later.

Electronics company NEC has been parade of robots ticket seller that will serve all forms of payment and purchase tickets from the train, and other discount voucher.

The difference with other ticket machine, which is usually a box-shaped, these robots have several advantages such as Face Recognition (face identification) through the camera which for regular customers, the robot can recognize them immediately.

In addition, through the camera, the robot can identify the age and gender of the person so that they can display ads relevant to the age or gender.
