Runbo has recently unveiled its latest rugged Android smartphone, the Runbo X3. Designed to operate in adverse conditions, this low to midrange Android phone fits IP67 rated for totally protected from dust and water. New Runbo X3 rugged smartphone is able to submerged underwater up to 3.2 feet.
Most interestingly, the Runbo X3 dust- and water-proof phone is a dual-SIM cards device and a walkie-talkie antenna that enabling communicate between X3 handsets (up to 10km away).
For screen, this phone packs a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, and a physical full QWERTY keyboard for easily typing.
Running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, the Runbo X3 boasts a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. For those who want extra storage space, it has a MicroSD card slot.
Other features are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 0.3-megapixel front camera, and an 8MP snapper on the back, as well as 3800 mAh battery.
Apart from dual-SIM capabilities, Runbo X3 supports GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and WCDMA 850/1900/2100 MHz mobile network. Its dimensions are 155 x 75 x 25 mm and weighs 245 grams.
Reportedly, the Runbo X3 rugged smartphone should be available for price of $349.
