The screens are becoming increasingly attractive, large, colorful and with better picture quality and now Samsung announced a new 8500 Series television that uses LED technology.

The high-definition television display has come in 46-inch and 55-inch, it has a 1080p definition, 240MHz refresh rate, 2ms response time, and most interesting of all, connectivity to the Internet.

This connection allows user to see the contents of Yahoo!, Meaning that you can stream photo in Flickr, the weather and news, USA Today for sports, and also allows accessing Twitter and YouTube.

Obviously this Samsung 8500 Series LED HDTV will not be thinking that its HDTV will be cheap toys. The Samsung 8500 Series 46-inch version will come out $3,599 and $4,499 for 55-inch version. Samsung 8500 Series LED HDTV will be available from August 2009.

When is the Samsung 8500 LED TV to be in stores? All info about it seems to be written in July or early August – saying it will be out in September. I have not found the TV in stores or any more info on the net.
