Samsung AMOLED 12M (SCH-W880) in South Korea, Official

Samsung has officially introduced in South Korea, the world’s first phone with 12MP camera and optical zoom, Samsung AMOLED 12M or SCH-W880, photos of which were published just yesterday.
A key feature of the new Samsung AMOLED 12M (SCH-W880) is a 12-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and 6x digital zoom, Xenon flash, image stabilizer and support for recording video in HD resolution (1280×720 pixels, 30 frames per second). In addition, the Samsung AMOLED 12M (SCH-W880) camera phone is able to detect a smile and focus on objects selected finger on the phone. A Smart Auto function which often found in “camera digital” Korean manufacturer is responsible for automatically selecting shooting mode depending on ambient conditions.
Samsung SCH-W880 phone is equipped with 3.3-inch touchscreen AMOLED display with resolution 480×800 pixels (WVGA), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 4GB of internal memory, a slot for microSD card, a digital television receiver and GPS module.
New Samsung AMOLED 12M or SCH-W880 will be on sale in October 2009. It may be in other countries, it will be distributed under the name of M8920. Recall that the first 12-megapixel cameraphone of the Samsung is a M8910 Pixon 12 that presented in June. Samsung AMOLED 12M (SCH-W880) in South Korea will be distribute via SK Telecom operator.
