Finally, the Samsung ATIV S Neo smartphone is now available at Sprint. That’s almost two months after first official unveiled by carrier. This handset can be yours for cost $149.99 on a two-year contract and after a $50 mail-in rebate. The ATIV S Neo becomes Sprint’s first device to runs Windows Phone 8 operating system and manufactured by Samsung, the South Korean company.
The Samsung ATIV S Neo for Sprint is support for 4G LTE and worldwide GSM networks, which is the international variant of the Ativ S smartphone. If you see its specifications, it’s also a slightly tweaked version.
Running on Windows Phone 8 OS, Sprint’s ATIV S Neo comes with a 1.4GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, and 16GB onboard memory. Its 2000mAh Lithium Ion battery is enabling juice the phone for up to 14 hours of talk time. For those who want extra storage space, they can use MicroSD card slot that supports up to 64GB. Alongside Beauty Shot and Manga Camera modes, the phone delivers 8MP on the back and 1.9MP front-facing cameras.
Samsung ATIV S Neo has a 4.8-inch (1280 x 720) HD touchscreen display. Interestingly, the device offers Kids Corner, which allows parents to give restrictive access their smartphone content and makes it curate kid-friendly apps. In term of connectivity, the Samsung ATIV S Neo smartphone is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, and more. Dimensions of ATIV S Neo are 135.4 mm x 69.15 mm x 9.25 mm and its weighs 144.02 grams.
