Samsung and Verizon Wireless US mobile operator announced a mobile phone, Convoy. New Samsung Convoy is executed in the clamshell form factor, it is covered by illuminated building of durable plastic and rubber, corresponding to U.S. military standard, MIL-STD 810F.

Samsung Convoy supports work in networks CDMA2000 1x EV-DO Rev. A, it is equipped with a 2-megapixel camera, two screens, Bluetooth version 2.1 with support profile A2DP, GPS receiver, a slot for microSD memory card, music player control keys on the flip and battery capacity of 1300 mAh. The Samsung Convoy phone also supports Push-to-Talk.

Samsung Convoy has cost of $49.99 (with a two-year contact and after a $50 mail-in rebate).
