Samsung Corby Speed, CDMA phone intros in India

As expected, Samsung has introduced a CDMA version of Samsung S3650 Corby phone in India, named Samsung Corby Speed.

New Samsung Corby Speed with powered by Open Market Handset (OMH) tech, it is proposed by leading India operator, Reliance Communications and Tata Indicom, as well as Qualcomm. According to OMH specs, the phone must support voice services, the exchange of SMS and MMS messages, packet data networks, 3G, WAP, JAVA, BREW, 1xEV-DO and Location Based Services. In addition, the Samsung Corby Speed is obliged to support the work of OMH SIM cards of any CDMA operator.

Samsung Corby Speed phone is distributed via Tata Indicom. The Samsung Corby Speed phone has a 2 megapixel camera, 2.8-inch touchscreen display, FM tuner, a slot for microSD, 80MB internal memory, and music player. Functionally of Samsung Corby Speed is not very different from the Samsung S3650 Corby. It is available in three color options; White, Black and Yellow. Cost of Samsung Corby Speed phone is Rs. 10,400.
