Samsung is starting sale its first e-book reader for US market, known as Samsung E6. This e-book reader will be sale in partnership with Barnes & Noble. The Samsung E6 e-book reader has an electromagnetic resonance (EMR) stylus pen, which allows writing capabilities. It also packs Samsung’s text-to-speech (TTS) technology, that offers reads text aloud and enjoy favorite content even while driving.
Samsung E6 e-reader has features a slider form factor, 2GB of internal storage, a microSD memory card slot (up to 16GB), a 6-inch e-ink display with resolution of 600×800 pixel, 8-Gray scale, and MP3 player. It has also 802.11b/g Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. According to manufacture, with 2GB of Samsung E6 is able store 1,500 books or 24,000 pages of memos.
The Samsung E6 ebook reader can be purchased for price of $299.
