Samsung has expanded its latest EcoGreen series hard drive, called the Samsung EcoGreen F4EG. The storage product is suitable for multimedia professionals, gamers and home PC users that increase the amount of video, music, photo and other personal data they store and back-up.
New Samsung EcoGreen F4EG hard drive is made in the 3.5-inch form factor and designed for use in desktop computers and workstations. It packs three 667GB platters (2TB total) and comes with 1.5TB and 2TB of storage capacity.
The new Samsung EcoGreen F4 hard drive has 23% lower power consumption in idle mode compared to their predecessors (F3EG series). For noise reduction technology used SilentSeek and NoiseGuard technology. Samsung EcoGreen F4EG HDD has brings 32MB buffer memory, SATA 3.0 Gbps interface, and Native Command Queuing.
The Samsung EcoGreen F4EG hard drive will be arrive scheduled for early September 2010 and expected price of $119.99.
