Samsung has announced a pair of entry level digital cameras, the Samsung PL20 and the Samsung ES80. The cameras are suitable for consumers that want a very affordable price but still decent quality pictures.

The Samsung PL20 will be available in March 2011 for price about $120, while the Samsung ES80 is scheduled go on sale for April 2011 and price of $100.

New Samsung PL20 is packs a 14-megapixel sensor, a 27mm wide-angle lens with 5x optical zoom, digital image stabilization, and AA battery. The Samsung PL20 model can record video in 720p HD format (1280 x 720 pixels at 24 frames per second).

The Samsung ES80 camera has brings a 12-megapixel sensor and similar lens with 5x optical zoom. The other features are similar to Samsung PL20.

Both cameras are provides Intelligent Scene Smart Auto, face detection, and smart filters. Samsung PL20 and ES80 cameras will be available in silver, red, black and pink color options.
