Samsung Fascinate hits US on Verizon, September 8
Verizon Wireless, the largest USA cellular operator, has officially announced the availability of the Samsung‘s flagship Android smartphone, known as the Samsung Fascinate. The handset is referring to the Samsung Galaxy S series.
Preliminary announcement of the Samsung Fascinate was held in late June 2010. By design, the cellphone does not differ from other members of Galaxy S family, the Samsung Vibrant that intended for T-Mobile USA. The only difference is Samsung Fascinate working in CDMA EV-DO network, while Samsung Vibrant in GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA network.
The cost of new Samsung Fascinate is $199.99 on new two-year contract with Verizon Wireless and after a $100 mail-in rebate. It will be start sold tomorrow, September 8.
Samsung Fascinate smartphone is running on Android 2.1 OS and boasts 1GHz processor, 5 megapixel camera with recording HD video, 4-inch Super AMOLED display, and so on.
Recall, Samsung Galaxy S series on the other North American operators is the Samsung Epic 4G that already selling via Sprint and Samsung Captivate on AT&T.
