Samsung demonstrated the latest fuel cell system based on methanol-powered. They will be issued in 2010, though only for the military industry. From such a fuel cell can be use in various electronics, such as laptops, directly in the field. This fuel cell has weigh 3.5 kg and solution provides 1800 Watt-hours without recharging. It is enough that the device that feeds him, worked about three days.
Several years ago the Samsung has promised to create a fuel system that can provide up to 30 days of work without recharging, and it will have an acceptable size.
