Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500) debuts in Australia by Telstra Prepaid

Telstra, the largest Australian carrier, today announced the launch of Samsung low-end Android smartphone that known as the Samsung Galaxy 5 (aka Samsung Galaxy i5500). They are offers the Galaxy i5500 on prepaid and customers can buy it for cost $199.

According to source, Samsung Galaxy 5 has similar specs as the Huawei U8300 smartphone. This Samsung cheapest Android smartphone is boasts a 600MHz processor, a MicroSD card slot (a 2GB card bundled) and runs Android 2.1 OS with TouchWiz UI.

The Samsung Galaxy 5 (i5500) smartphone has features a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive display, A-GPS, Bluetooth 2.1, 2 megapixel camera, 3.5mm headset jack, Wi-Fi b/g with DLNA support, and FM Radio

Telstra Samsung i5500 Galaxy 5 smartphone is provides HSDPA 7.2Mbps and 850/2100MHz 3G.
