Samsung has officially announced newest Android smartphone that called the Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510). The handset was first shown to the public at the IFA 2010 (Berlin, 3-8 September).

New Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510) is executed in side slider form factor and has a sliding QWERTY keyboard with optical joystick. That designed for social network users and business users.

Samsung I5510 (Galaxy 551) smartphone has brings a 3.2-inch capacitive touchscreen TFT display with resolution of 240 x 400 pixels (WQVGA), Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11n, a 3 megapixel camera, GPS, 160MB of internal memory, a microSD memory card, FM tuner, and a 1200 mAh battery. It is capable to play DivX video and support DLNA.

The Samsung Galaxy I5510 smartphone is powered by 667MHz processor and runs under Android 2.2 with TouchWIZ 3.0 UI. It is supports GSM/GPRS/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA.

The cost of new Samsung Galaxy 551 (I5510) in European market is 389 euros (about $539) and should be start sale in November 2010.
