Samsung Galaxy Gio smartphone available at Virgin Mobile and Bell
In Canada, Bell and Virgin Mobile just added their smartphone lineup with the Samsung Galaxy Gio. This Samsung phone is entry level Android handset is selling for price of $249 outright, or just $29.95 on a 3-year contract. Virgin is offering the Samsung Galaxy Gio smartphone for cost of $149.99 outright or for free on a 3-year term.
Samsung Galaxy Gio Specifications
Running on Android OS 2.3, the Samsung Galaxy Gio is powered by an 800 MHz processor, 160MB of internal memory, expandable up to 32GB microSD card, and TouchWiz 3.0 UI. Its battery is enabling up to 11 hours of talk time, up to 26 days of standby.
The Galaxy Gio smartphone packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with HVGA (320 x 480 pixels) resolution, 3 megapixel autofocus camera, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Mobile Wi-Fi hotspot (up to eight Wi-Fi devices), GPS, and Bluetooth 2.1. Size of Samsung Galaxy Gio is 57.5 x 110.5 x 12.15 mm and weight 102 grams.
