Samsung, once again to launch a new clamshell smartphone (after Hennessy SCH-W789). In South Korea, the giant electronics company has officially introduced its Android smartphone that called the Samsung Galaxy Golden (SHV-E400). The device seems a premium flip phone compare than the previous clamshell model, which was unveiled in China.
The Galaxy Golden is also become the answer from rumored flip phone that was to come out this year and formerly known as the Samsung Galaxy Folder. It delivers a stylish look with ease of use from modern touchscreen interface and traditional flip phone.
Galaxy Golden phone comes with Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS and additional features including business card reader (automatically recognizes contact details), S Health, Easy Mode (homescreen designed for beginner audience), etc. The new smartphone boasts a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and an 1820mAh battery.
You’ll find two 3.7-inch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) AMOLED displays (on front and internal). Alongside 4G LTE support, new Samsung Galaxy Golden SHV-E400 provides an 8MP rear-facing camera, a 1.9MP camera on the front for video chats or self-portrait, as well as FM Radio.
Samsung SHV-E400 Galaxy Golden clamshell Android phone should be available for its domestic market at price of 799,700 won that’s meaning around $715. There is one color only, champagne gold. For those who lived in South Korea could purchase it on SKT or KT mobile carrier. Availability in the United States or other market is unclear at moment.
