The Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 also joins the official USA release announcement with the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 tablet. New Samsung player is scheduled available for pre-order in US market start May 4th and release on May 13th, 2012 for price tag $199.99.
New Galaxy Player 4.2 is also known as the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.2 device. It boasts a 1GHz Cortex A8 processor, 8GB of internal storage, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and a 4.2-inch capacitive multitouch WVGA (800 x 480 pixel) display.
As software, Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 brings Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system paired with the TouchWiz UI.
For audio point, there is Samsung’s SoundAlive audio enhancement engine. In term of connectivity, this player has WiFi 802.11b/g/a and Bluetooth 3.0.
Dimensions of Samsung 4.2 player model are 4.89 x 2.6 x 0.35 inches and weighs 0.26 pounds.
