The newest Samsung portable player that known as the Samsung Galaxy Player is now available for pre-order in the UK via Amazon. The player is comes in two versions, 8GB and 16GB of storage capacity (there is no sign of a 32GB model).

Amazon UK is offering the Samsung Galaxy Player in white color only and listed price of £149.99 (about $234) for 8GB, while the 16GB model is cost of £179.99 (around $280). The Galaxy Player PMP will shipping on January 7th, 2011.

As reported, the Samsung Galaxy Player has features a 3.2-inch display, Sound Alive technology for recreates 5.1 surround sound, a microSD card slot, and up to 30 hours in audio playback or up to 5 hours in video playback of battery life. The Samsung Galaxy Player is support for MPEG4/H.264/H.263/WMV/DivX/Xvid video compatibility and MP3, AAC, WAV, FLAC, WMA, OGG, AMR audio compatibility.
