Samsung has started selling its portable media player, which is known as the Samsung Galaxy Player (YP-GB1) in its home market, South Korea. The newly gadget is available in two models, 8GB and 16GB of capacity.

Samsung Galaxy Player (YP-GB1) is runs Android 2.2 OS and boasts 1GHz processor. The Galaxy Player has features a 4-inch WVGA Super Clear LCD, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, SoundAlive, T-DMB, GPS, 3.2MP main camera, front-facing camera for video calling, HD video playback support, a slot for microSD memory card, and a 1200mAh battery.

In South Korea, the Samsung Galaxy Player 8GB model should be sell for price of 399,000 won and 459,000 won for the 16GB Galaxy Player.
