Samsung has just announced its new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S II in India and confirmed the handset’s availability sometime in May 2011. The Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone is expected price of around Rs. 35,000 (about $786).

New Galaxy S II is the Samsung’s thinnest Android smartphone. The features on Samsung Galaxy S II smartphone like a 4.3-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display, a 8MP camera with LED flash and 1020p full HD video recording, TouchWiz UI 4.0, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct support, accelerometer, HSPA+ 21Mbps support, and DLNA.

This Samsung handset is also provides Social Hub, Game Hub, Readers Hub and Music Hub applications. Samsung Galaxy S II is boasts dual-core 1.2GHz processor, 16GB internal memory, a microSD card slot, a 1650mAh battery, and runs Android 2.3 OS.

Dimensions of Galaxy S II are 125.3 x 66.1 x 8.49 mm and weight 116 grams.
