Samsung has recently showcased a pair of portable media players at the Mobile World Congress 2011 (MWC 2011), the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and the Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 5.0.

The newly devices are based on its Samsung Galaxy S smartphone and pack a 5-inch touchscreen TFT LCD display with resolution of 480 x 800 pixels (Galaxy S WiFi 5.0), 4-inch Super Clear TFT display (Galaxy S WiFi 4.0).

The Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 PMPs have similar specs  as the Galaxy Player 50 and Galaxy Player YP-GB1 (Galaxy S Wi-Fi 4.0).

Specs of them are Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS, digital compass, MicroSD card slot, 3.2-megapixel camera with LED flash, VGA front camera for video calls, accelerometer, FM radio, voice recorder, and a 2500 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S WiFi 4.0 and Galaxy S WiFi 5.0 PMPs are built-in 8GB/16GB storage options. They are running on Android 2.2 OS (Froyo) and boast a 1GHz processor.
