Samsung along with SingTel (the Singaporean carrier) have officially announced the existence of their new smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+. Judging its name, it is actually an enhanced version of the flagship Galaxy S5 smartphone. This model will able to reach 300Mbps download speeds through LTE-Advanced connectivity in Singapore. Meanwhile, this handset would be arrive in markets where the LTE-A network is available for their consumers.
The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ smartphone will go on sale starting August 23, 2014 in this country. Reportedly, the carrier also plans to sell the other new phone – Samsung Galaxy Alpha 4G+ on their official retail channels sometime in September 2014.
Most differences between the original Galaxy S5 and the Galaxy S5 4G+ smartphones is its processor inside. The regular version comes with 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 CPU that a slightly more powerful.
New Samsung Galaxy S5 4G+ packs a 5.1-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and 2GB RAM. These features are also different with other model, the Korean Galaxy S5 LTE-A smartphone brings a WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution and 3GB RAM.
Customers in Singapore will able to purchase the 4G+ unit with a mobile plan starting at SGD $0 and up to SGD $688 (that means $550 or €415).
