After an amazingly large number of leaks, Samsung has recently announced a new more powerful version of its flagship Android smartphone. Called the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A, it is expected to be available limited for company’s home market, South Korea. Moreover, the new handset comes with a several different hardware specifications from the original Galaxy S5 smartphone.
The inside of new Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE-A phone is a Snapdragon 805 processor clocked at 2.5GHz. Meaning the phone supports 4G LTE speeds of up to 225Mbps, which also known as LTE-Advanced (or LTE-A). As mention, the standard Galaxy S5 model has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 CPU.
New Galaxy S5 LTE-A smartphone has also got a 5.1-inch touchscreen Super AMOLED display with WQHD 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. That’s delivering very fast response time, contrast ratio of 100,000:1 and 90 percent Adobe RGB color coverage. Other enhance features are an Adreno 420 graphics processing unit and 3GB of RAM (instead of only 2GB of RAM on the original model).
The enhanced version of Galaxy S5 phone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system. For selfie lovers, the handset comes with 2 megapixel front-facing camera. It has a 16-megapixel autofocus camera on the back with LED flash and 4K video recording.
Like the standard variant, it provides fingerprint scanner and heart rate sensor. The handset is IP67 certification for dust and water resistance.
