Samsung has silently released its new touchscreen smartphone in India, the Samsung Galaxy SL (Samsung Galaxy S LCD GT-I9003).

The new handset is likes other Galaxy S smartphone but reduced internal memory to 4GB, also a 4-inch super clear LCD touchscreen display (not Super AMOLED). The Samsung Galaxy SL GT-I9003 for Indian market is selling for price about 19000 INR (around $420).

The Samsung Galaxy S LCD GT-I9003 is powered by a 1GHz processor, 4GB internal memory, microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and runs on Android 2.2 Froyo OS.

Samsung Galaxy SL packs a 5 megapixel autofocus camera with 720p HD video recording (30fps), face, smile and blink detection, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 5.76 Mbps HSUPA, and 7.2 Mbps HSDPA.

There are stereo Bluetooth 3.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and Micro USB port.
