Samsung has officially introduced a new smartphone, namely the Samsung Galaxy SL i9003. The handset is new version of the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 and listed at Samsung Mobile Middle East’s official website.

The new Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL has a 4-inch Super Clear LCD (TFT) display (instead of Super AMOLED) and thicker (10.59 mm) than the i9000 (9.9 mm) as well as heavier (131 grams) than old one.

New Galaxy SL i9003 smartphone is comes with higher capacity 1650mAh battery (like the Galaxy S 4G). According to other source, Samsung Galaxy SL i9003 is powered by a 1GHz Cortex A8 CPU, PowerVR SGX530 GPU, and TI OMAP 3630 chipset. It is runs Android 2.2 OS.

Dimension of Samsung GT-I9003 is 123.7 x 64.2 x 10.59 mm and weight 131g. Samsung I9003 Galaxy SL smartphone has brings a 5-megapixel camera with HD video recording, GPS, and Bluetooth 3.0. There is no word on pricing or release date of this GT-I9003.
