Barnes & Noble partnered with Samsung have officially launched a NOOK version of a premium tablet. Here is the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK, which is already available for purchase at cost $399.99. Those who want pick one up can order it directly at B&N stores and the NOOK website.
The device is actually the regular Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet pre-loaded with NOOK software. For that amount, buyers will get three free NOOK books, three free NOOK magazines, and of course, a $5 credit. Company says the new Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 NOOK is a much pretty tablet than last year’s model. Already we known B&N was well-known develop its own NOOK tablets a while back. But it was decided to stop it and first model that teamed with other company is Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 NOOK (which is a special edition of an existing tablet).
Back to specs-wise, NOOK’s Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 tablet has an 8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixel. Weighing about 9.4 ounces and just 0.22 inches thick, it’s got an 8MP rear camera and a 2.1MP camera on the front. This tablet provides 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. It is equipped with WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, and GPS.
