After appeared a leaked spec few days ago, the new rugged Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 S7710 Android smartphone has been officially introduced. Designed to endure against the most rugged outdoor conditions, this Samsung durable mobile device is perfectly for people who active explore and enjoying outdoor lifestyles.
The Galaxy Xcover 2 S7710 is a successor to the Samsung Galaxy Xcover S5690 rugged smartphone that both devices are dustproof and IP67-certified waterproof. To additional protection against dropping, this phone is also providing a battery cover lock.
It boasts a 1GHz dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of onboard storage, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Rugged Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 phone has a 4-inch touchscreen TFT display with WVGA (480 x 800) resolution, a VGA front-facing camera, a 5MP camera on the back with LED flash and a dedicated key for take photo.
In connectivity term, new Samsung Galaxy Xcover 2 smartphone Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, USB 2.0, HSPA, GPS with Glonass, and 3.5mm headset jack.
