Samsung has just unveiled a new rugged Android smartphone, dubbed the Samsung Galaxy Xcover. The durable handset is claimed able to survive in extreme conditions or withstand harsh environment.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Xcover is meets the IP67 rated that dust-, drops-, and water-proof (up to 1 meter for 30 minutes). Running on Google Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS, new Galaxy Xcover toughness phone packs a 3.65-inch touchscreen display with backed by scratch-resistant tempered glass, a 3.2MP camera with LED flash (also flashlight), Wi-Fi connectivity, 7.2Mbps HSDPA, and GPS.

Samsung Galaxy Xcover Availability

In October-released, the Samsung Galaxy Xcover rugged Android phone will be arriving in Germany market. There is no word on pricing at moment.
