Samsung has announced the availability of its low-end Android smartphone in the UK, the Samsung Galaxy Young. This handset should be arrives to hit the shores on this country in this week. According to source, Carphone Warehouse and O2 will offering the Galaxy Young on PAYG (Pay as you go) for cost £89.99. But you’ll also have another option to pick the Samsung Galaxy Young up for free on sign a contract with the operator (as low as £9.5 per month).
Back in February, the Galaxy Young was official introduced and along with another cheap low-end Android smartphones, the Samsung Galaxy Fame. In mind first, both handsets are aimed to emerging markets.
Running on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, the Samsung Galaxy Young boasts a 1GHz single-core processor, 768MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage. It packs a 3.2-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, and a 3MP rear-facing camera. Other features are 7.2Mbps HSPA, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, a 1,300 mAh battery, and a microSD card slot.
