Samsung Gem SCH-i100 Android phone

Samsung has officially unveiled their latest Android smartphone that namely the Samsung Gem SCH-i100.

The new handset is a bar-style phone and running on Android 2.1 Eclair OS.

The Samsung SCH-i100 Gem Android smartphone has features a 3.2-inch WQVGA touchscreen display, Swype virtual keyboard, Bluetooth, speakerphone, 3.2MP camera, social networking integration (via Samsung Hub), and a microSD card slot (up to 16GB).

New Samsung Gem smartphone is powered by an 800MHz processor, 124MB on board memory, and up to 800 hours in standby, 410 minutes in talk time.

Size of Samsung Gem SCH-i100 smartphone is 4.48 x 2.18 x 0.48 inches and weighs 3.85 ounces.

The new Samsung Gem SCH-i100 smartphone is probably launched by Verizon soon.
