Samsung has recently official announced its new smartphone, the Samsung Gio (SHW-M290S/K) for South Korean market. Previously, this Gio was presented at the Mobile World Congress 2011.

The Samsung Gio (SHW-M290S/K) smartphone will be distributed via KT and SKT. It has features a 3.2-inch display, 3MP camera, Bluetooth 3.0, Wi-Fi, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), T-DMB, and DivX support.

New Samsung Gio smartphone is boasts an 800MHz processor and runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS. It has a Hyperskin battery cover, which making luxury look smartphone and protects from fingerprints, improves grip, and scratches.

Samsung Gio (SHW-M290S/K) is comes in two flavor choices – dark silver and silver white. The Gio smartphone should be selling for price tag 500,000 won (about $463).
