Samsung Highlight, entry-level phone and official announced

Samsung officially introduced the mobile phone, Samsung Highlight, designed for the T-Mobile North American operator.

The device is controlled by 3-inch touch screen with a resolution 240×400 pixels and use TouchWiz user interface. The model implemented in the large touch-screen display form, so the text is entered via a virtual QWERTY keyboard.

The Samsung Highlight is capable of working in networks of UMTS/HSDPA 1700/2100 MHz and GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz and it is positioned as entry-level phone has a 3.1-megapixel camera with video recording opportunity, a full web browser, Bluetooth wireless module and audio formats with support for MP3, WMA, AAC, AAC+ and eAAC+.

The size of new Samsung Highlight is 108.5×53.6×13.7 mm and weight is 105 gr. At the conclusion of the one-year contract with the operator, Samsung Highlight can be purchased for $150.
