Besides rolled out smartphones, tablets, smart televisions, and other consumer electronics, Samsung has also unveiled a home hub solution called the Samsung HomeSync. Designed for a shared storage fit for a family, this set-top-box is actually home media server that offers smarter Android user experience and improving featured on your HDTV. It is enabling stream content from mobile device to your TV.
Running on Android Jelly Bean operating system, the HomeSync boasts a 1.7GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of DDR3 RAM. As storage term, this Android-based media server provides 1TB hard drive paired with 8GB solid state drive (SSD). The Samsung HomeSync set-top-box is capable to synchronize data between devices, create private storage and access shared. That’s support for up to 8 accounts.
Along with Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, the HomeSync delivers Bluetooth 4.0, Ethernet LAN, and two USB 3.0 ports. For connecting to a computer, users can use a microUSB port, while TV/monitor is utilized HDMI output.
Exactly release date and pricing of Samsung HomeSync hasn’t announced yet.
