Samsung i8520 high-end touchscreen phone with pico projector
After Samsung Wave S8500 with Bada OS, South Korea Company, Samsung has introduced another mobile phone at MWC 2010, called Samsung i8520. It is a high-end touchscreen phone, like Samsung Wave S8500.
The main interesting is that the Samsung i8520 has integrated DLP pico projector, manufactured by Texas Instruments. Samsung i8520 Halo comes with 3.7-inch WVGA Super AMOLED display (Wave S8500 only 3.3-inch), 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card slot (up to 32GB), and 8MP autofocus camera with flash (VGA on front).
The Samsung i8520 phone has feature 720p at 30fps video encoding/decoding with H.264, H.263, MPEG4, Divx/Xvid, VC-1 supports, audio playback MP3, OGG, AAC, AAC+, eAAC+, AMR-NB, AMR-WB, WMA, WAV, MID, AC3 and Push Service (SNS, IM, Email).
It packs Bluetooth 2.1, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 2.0 port, FM Radio with RDS, 802.11b/g/n WiFi, A-GPS, Specialized Projector UI, stereo speakers with 3D Sound Effect, DLNA support, and a 1800 mAh battery.
Dimension of Samsung I8520 projector phone is 123×59.8×14.9 mm. Samsung GT-I8520 phone is provides EDGE/GPRS (850/900/1800/1900) and HSDPA 7.2Mbps/HSUPA 5.76Mbps UMTS (900/1900/2100). It will be available in Q3 2010 on Europe and Asia market.
