The slightly modified version of the Samsung Galaxy S i9000 smartphone is Samsung i9003 Galaxy SL. The Samsung handset is already available in Singapore on March 12, 2011, while currently arriving in Germany and India. As mentions, Samsung Galaxy SL (GT-i9003) was announced back in February 2011.

The Samsung Galaxy SL (i9003) smartphone is identical to i9000 Galaxy S but the differently including a 4-inch Super Clear LCD display (Super AMOLED on i9000), a single-core 1GHz TI processor (instead of 1GHz Samsung chip), 1650 mAh battery (bigger than i9000 on 1500 mAh), bit thicker (10.59mm) than the Galaxy S i9000 (9.9mm), and finally runs Android 2.2 Froyo OS.
