Samsung Metro TV and Corby TV Phone hits India
Samsung has announced two new mobile phones in India, called Samsung Metro TV and Samsung Corby TV. It is based on its names, lets user to use portable TV. The Samsung Metro TV is a candybar phone and brings MimobiTV app, which is developed by Apalya. Samsung Metro TV phone is packs a 2MP camera, a 2-inch display, Bluetooth, an FM radio, a mobile tracker, and a microSD card slot. It also support for 9 regional Indian languages.
Samsung Corby TV has a similar design with the Samsung CDMA Corby Speed, which was launched December last year in India. This phone also brings a MimobiTV Mobile TV application that enabling watching to more than 40 TV channels. The Samsung Corby TV has feature a 2.8-inch QVGA touchscreen display, FM radio, Bluetooth, OHM support, a microSD card slot, and 2MP camera.
Samsung Metro TV has retail priced at 6,999 INR (about $158), while Samsung Corby TV has cost of 9,699 INR (around $218).
