Samsung has presented its Mondi MID (aka SWD-M100) and it runs based on Windows Mobile, coincidentally with the functioning of the Clear Mobile WiMAX service being deployed in Las Vegas. Speaking of numbers, ClearWire will cover approximately 1.7 million residents.
The Samsung Mondi has 4.3-inch 800×480 touchscreen display, a sliding QWERTY keyboard, along with WiFi connectivity and GPS with directions courtesy of Route 66, and a 3MP camera. For storage, Mondi has brings 4GB internal memory and expandable with SD/SDHC up to 32GB.
Samsung Mondi MID also has preloaded with Windows Live Messenger, Fring, Gypsii, and Opera 9.5 internet browser. This MID has also supports DivX and XviD video playback.
Samsung Mondi will be available at Clearwire retail outlets and select Best Buy stores in Atlanta, Las Vegas and Portland, that is August 1st. For this moment, there is no information pricing yet.
