Samsung Omnia HD, Record and Play Video in 720p [MWC 2009]
Feb 16, 2009 Camera, Mobile Phones
Samsung pulls all weapons, and technology presented in the MWC is Omnia HD, the first mobile phone in the world that can record and play video in HD (720p). For this purpose:
* Grinding of 3.7 inch screen with great contrast to help see the video, the technology allows high energy savings for not having impact (very) large batteries on the phone.
* 8-megapixel camera that takes photos and records video in 16:9 format at 1280×720 pixels.
Samsung also leaves out Windows Mobile as the operating system and replaces it with Symbian, we may give some clues to the problems of graphical interface you expect of the phone. I also believe that there is insufficient memory: 8GB, considering that what is being sold in high-definition capabilities equip should come with at least 32GB of memory.
