Samsung patented, phone with folding keyboard

July 10th, 2009 | Filed under Mobile Phones 0 Comments

The world of patents is truly amazing, every day there are some really intriguing. Many of them are simple projects and ideas but never see the light, others turned into reality and now Samsung patented one that might be feasible, at least at technical level.

The idea is simple, providing a mobile phone of a folding keyboard that is to keep both sides of a mobile phone. So to call, we extend the keyboard, would be moving in the center and the keyboard on either side, as if they are wings.

It seems that using a keyboard and a mobile phone would not be very comfortable, but it is also true that one day is a mobile phone with similar characteristics, it will certainly not have much to do with the designs of the schemes. We will see that Samsung is planning for this patent, its unique QWERTY keyboard designs.
